Bonjour! I am a student at Queen’s University studying to be a high school Math and French teacher. Last year, I had the opportunity to go on exchange to France and I have also spent one summer in Québec in high school. I would love to share a bit of these two amazing cultures with my future students in order to bring the French language to life. This summer, I worked for Camp Tournesol as a counsellor and team leader for the kindergarten program. I love working with children and young adults, and I cannot wait to discover the French language with your child!
“My son is so excited for his tutoring with Kaitlyn! He’s normally a little monkey when it comes to tutoring and reading but she’s so encouraging and he looks forward to seeing her every week. We’re definitely going to get more sessions in ASAP!”
Hi there! My name is Xyza and I am a teacher in a francophone high school. Because I am half French, I like to take any opportunity that has to do with being involved in the French community. I have a BA in psychology and a certificate of bilingualism. I’ve been working for Camp Tournesol for over 4 years now and I look forward to starting my new journey with Great French Tutors as well.
Hello! My name is Jules and I am a Child and Youth Worker in for the French school board Viamonde. I have also been a camp counsellor with Camp Tournesol for three years. I am originally from France and I would love to share my culture and my language with you and your kids to make them comfortable with French – always with fun and joy! I can’t wait to meet your kids and accompany them to the road of French success!
